This ornate, brick Queen Anne Style was designed by Francis H. Fassett and John Calvin Stevens for local flour merchant Malcolm F. Hammond. Portland's Historic Resources Inventory dates the construction circa 1882 and fortunately 139 years later this magnificent combination of brick, slate, detailed woodwork, stained glass, and pink granite remain relatively intact.
